Giiftii means Queen in the oromo language. This fragrance pays homage to the ethnic group. The Oromo people constitute the largest ethnic group in Ethiopia, or about 30 million people out of a total population of 60 million. Their original homeland, Oromia, included most of what is now Ethiopia and stretched into northern Kenya, where some Oromos still live.
